My First Submission.

In today's fast paced world, technology is the front runner in every aspect of our lives. I am the type of person that is always looking to improve my life with the technology that is around me on a day to day basis. Being that I have my own company that provides computer services, printing services, and technology consulting, I have to be on top of allot of things.

Recently, I have had an influx of clients who call me for Virus/Malware related issues. As with anything, with time these viruses and malware have become smarter and ever more dangerous (in the sense of danger to your computer and personal information). These days, you cannot afford to be unprotected, and if you are like a majority of my new clients, the damage has already been done.

So, in order to protect you lucky people who have not been infected yet, I am going to give you a couple of ways in which you can protect yourself before you become victim to the growing attacks by hackers and viruses.

1- If you don't have an antivirus program installed on your computer, do so right now. Whether you go to your local technology store, or download it from the internet, do it immediately. (But beware, just because you have an antivirus program or firewall does not mean that you are fully protected!). Try this link, they give you a 30 day money back guarantee

Or you can go to, www.download.com, and get a decent free antivirus program.
You also have to be very carfeul with allot of other things, such as:
A) When downloading attachments and files from emails, make sure to have your antivirus
program scan them.
B) Be careful what websites and P2P sites you download from, make sure that they are
trusted sites ( if you would like to download anything specific, email me and I will give you
links to some specific sites)

2- Make sure that if you are using a Windows based system, that you have your firewall enabled, or have a firewall program installed outside of the one that comes with Windows.
In order to do this, you need to go to the control panel, and towards the bottom of the control pane, go to the windows firewall option, and make sure that it is turned on. This will protect your computer to a certain degree, but if it is turned off, make sure to turn it on immediately, and check it every now and then, to make sure that it has not been turned off by a virus, malware, or a hacker.

3- Finally, make sure to create a backup of all of your critical documents. I have had way too many clients lose years worth of information that we could not recover and they did not have a backup of anything. Don't let this happen to you. There are tons of easy to use programs out there that you can either purchase at retail stores, or download online. They are worth every penny. Because even if you are protected agains viruses and such, your hard drive could crash without any warning, and that is even harder to retrieve information from .
Try this one out, I use it and so do most of my clients, it is called Final Sync, a very easy and useful program, http://968e2gvheqjuaul1nab82psy1-.hop.clickbank.net/

Thank you for your time and support. If you have any questions related to this topic, feel free to email me directly at murat@digitizeddocuments.com
